The tax thing was simply more BIG LIE action. OK, so these folks pay ZERO income tax (MItty pays only around 14% don’t forget) but they cough up PLENTY of taxes – those withheld from their paychecks as working stiffs. Of course Mitty knows nothing about getting a paycheck because all his loot comes in the form of capital gains – and we all know he wants those taxes reduced. As the campaign goes on it’s more and more clearly the 99% vs the 1%.

Like the very rich Mark Cuban said ” these people all pledge to die for their country, but they don’t want to pay taxes”. They just want someone else to pay more taxes instead is more like it. And for the government to be run like a company! Imagine how much fun Mittens would have laying off citizens. He could send the 47% to China to work in sweat shops so that the 53% could pay no taxes and all be gazillionaires. This is all getting to be too much for my small brain to comprehend, so I’ll just go hit my parents up for a couple of hundred grand and start a business. It’s just that easy.

It’s partially that earnings are down. But mostly, it’s supposedly a GOP success story that tax reform lowered the tax burden on so many.

That’s how incoherent the GOP platform is. One, taxes are too high, but two, they’re also too low.

It’s a party of nothing but angry people. And tell them that, and watch how mad they get.
